We've ben here twice, and have loved it both times! My hubby ordered the mole the first time (I don't remember what he ordered the second time), and I had the deluxe tostada. So...so good! The refried beans are actually seasoned well, where most Mexican restaurants I've been to have really bland refried beans. Very Tasty!

I agree on the service here-slightly lacking. Like they don't really care. They kept the water and salsa chips coming, asked how everything was-normal stuff. Just kinda meh. Nothing above and beyond. Their food is so delicious, that I just don't care, but they'd get better tips if they did more!

Also the mild salsa is really watery with not much flavor-even my 7 year old liked the medium salsa better! Overall, cute but crusty decor, great food-so great, that said 7 year old let out an epic blech after his lunch that got instant praise from a fellow diner!! Sold!

Great food, good service. I had the Rancho Viejo burrito with rancho beans. It was yummy and they topped it with a generous amount of cheesy goodness, mild sauce, sour cream and guacamole. The rice and beans came inside instead of on the side, which was fine with me.

The prices for most if the menu items were pretty high in my opinion, but my meal was worth the $9.

I am from Southern California, my husband's family all from Mexico. We love Mexican food! While we will quickly note that this is an American version of "Mexican food" it is pretty good. (Having lived all over So, Cal for 30 + years, most of thise restaurants are not authentic either...Just saying) This Rancho Viejo location is my favorite. We eat here frequently and the staff as well as the food have been consistent. Love the Pollo Camitas! Chips and salsa good, but skip the mild stuff they put out for the kids... Too mild! The staff is great with our toddler, who loves this place. Great drinks as well.

We just took a party of 16 here after a day at the tree farm. Everyone was happy and I was pleasantly suprised with the reasonable bill. I highly recommend!

Don't let the less than intelligent reviews fool you, this place is amazing!

Yes it takes awhile to be served, but that's part of being at a quality restaurant, everyone's used to instant gratification, they don't want to wait. If you just calm down and enjoy yourself you'll find that when your food comes its worth the wait. The staff was friendly, the prices were a bit high but thats because the food isn't cheap and quick here, and I would recommend if you want some great Mexican food and you're in the area-go here! :)

Love me some Mexican food! They have a great happy hour and always seem to remember there customers. Cadillac matgarita and a chicken chimichanga are perfect. I have had plenty of Mexican chicken chimichangas and this one by far is the best. Unlike other Mexican places they have the red sauce on the chicken that's inside the breading instead of on top, so it doesn't get all soggy!! Crazy donkey burrito is awesome too. Check um out!!
